"Just Asking Questions" (JAQ) is an often overlooked characteristic of pseudoarchaeology. JAQing allows proponents to present speculative claims as legitimate inquiries, shifting the burden of proof and shielding them from criticism. This tactic blurs the lines between fact and fiction, facilitating the spread of harmful narratives.
